How to complete your pledge form/How to make your pledge:
- Choose an agencies to which you wish to give. You may search our online database here. You may choose from organizations providing services in the local areas listed or organizations providing services or a state-wide or national basis.
If your favorite charity is not listed, contact the SCC office. We may be able to help. - For each charitable organization, a brief description of services provided by the agency, its phone number, 6-digit agency code and the percent of overhead is given.
- You are encouraged to designate your gift. Undesignated contributions will be distributed among participating agencies in the same proportion they received designated contributions.
- Complete your pledge card along with the TOTAL dollar amount you want to go to each agency/federation.
If you would like to designate your gift to a specific program or would like to make it honoring someone, please attach the Earmark/Memorial Contribution attachment. - Print your email/address on the pledge card if you want to hear from the agency(ies) to whom you designated your gift ($25 minimum please).
- Mail your pledge card either to your Statewide Coordinator or Keyworker. You can also email or mail your pledge form to the SCC office at shamer@unitedwaysal.org or 8 Commerce Street, Suite 1140, Montgomery, AL 36104.
