I am excited to be working with all of you as we raise support for Alabama charities! This year, our campaign theme is “Giving Today, Changing Tomorrow.”
As a coordinator or keyworker, you will play a critical role in the campaign and its outcome. Your role is to passionately and energetically educate, motivate, and inspire others in your organization to give by communicating the impactful purpose of charitable giving. You will be the point of contact with SCC Managers and are responsible for identifying other employees to assist internally with the campaign, distributing materials, and receiving pledges from your coworkers—both locally and statewide.
To ensure success, the support of department leaders alongside caring and dedicated Campaign Coordinators makes all the difference. It is important to engage your department leadership in the campaign as much as possible! The statewide goal for the 2026 campaign is $785,000.00, which I am confident that we will not only meet, but exceed!
Last year was a huge success, with over 7,400 state employees contributing more than $892,000 to Alabama’s charities through the SCC. The 2026 campaign will build on this momentum and provide an even greater impact to organizations and individuals in the community relying on our support.
