Pushing forward! 2025 Week 5 Update

More and more departments are kicking off their internal campaigns, and I love seeing the excitement! Just yesterday, I had the privilege to attend a kickoff where one of our charity partners shared about their organization and the lifechanging work being done in their community.

Your leadership and support fuels impactful stories like this! I would encourage you to share charity stories in your department, connecting employees with the real work being done all across the state to bring hope to individuals and families.

If you’d like to share an SCC charity story with your department, a media library can be found HERE. Please let me know if there’s a specific charity not listed that you’d like to hear from, and I’ll get you connected with them.

Where Are We At?

We made great progress this week, with much more still to be done in impacting our communities through giving. As of Week 5, $181,401.61 has been received from 1,160 contributors. This was a great leap over last week and really helped us to push forward, so thank you for your leadership and engagement!

As we continue to track progress and move toward the statewide goal of $785,000 (as well as last year’s total raised, which equaled $892,000), this week’s report attached below includes a year-over-year comparison to help guide our efforts. This shows where each department was in relation to the same week last year.

This Week’s Goal-Getters!

Several departments and divisions helped us move another 10% toward the statewide goal AND far exceeded their own goals! Let’s give it up for them…

Please remember to submit reports regularly (if not weekly) so that we can easily track the campaign’s progress.

As you facilitate the campaign in your department or office, please don’t hesitate to reach out if there are any questions I can answer or resources that can be offered.

You’re making a huge difference across the state of Alabama through your leadership — thank you!
