2023 SCC Week 1 Report

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy day to attend the 2023 State Combined Campaign Kick-off celebration on Wednesday, August 23rd.  Attendance was GREAT!  We had nearly 180 of the State’s best Employees visit with 25 State Combined Campaign charities.

Our emcee for the event was Jean Brown, Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Senior Services and our esteemed Campaign Chair.  The mood was enthusiastic, enjoyable and all about the charities.  Commissioner Brown encouraged everyone to go back to their offices, and advocate for participation at any level, and for all to do their very best!  We all know the need is great, as is the task at hand.

We are off to a fantastic start!  SCC Week 1 totals are in, and the news is very encouraging!  We are nearly at 4% of our $785,000 campaign goal with $30,077 contributed to date.  Participation must be our area of focus.  Participation at any level.  See the attached SCC Week 1 report to see how your agency or department is doing.

This year’s theme is “State Employees Thanks for 30 years of helping people by giving!”  Be sure to share your campaign photos.  We would like to post them on our website and Facebook page, so be sure to “Like” the State Combined Campaign Facebook page and follow us on TwitterX.  Kickoff pictures are posted on the page.
